Scorpion Coating Plus, LLC (SCP) – LIMITED WARRANTY

Scorpion Coating Plus, LLC (“SCP”) warranty warrants to the original purchaser (vehicle owner at time work completed as evinced on invoice) that any installation procedures performed will be free from workmanship defects for a period of Limited Lifetime (“Warranty Period”) after the installed product as determined by manufacturer.

 This workmanship warranty covers all workmanship defects related to installed work only. SCP will provide service without charge, for Warranty Period, after installation of the product if a problem occurs due to workmanship, in accordance with warranty from the manufacturer issued to the buyer.

SUBJECT TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH HEREIN BELOW, SCP OFFERS THE LIMITED WARRANTY AS FOLLOWS

  1. WARRANTY PERIOD The Product Warranty remains in effect for the period specified on the Warranty Records or as long as the Vehicle Owner as recorded on the Warranty Records owns the warranted vehicle, whichever is the shorter period of time (the “Warranty Period”). III. PRODUCT WARRANTY Scorpion Coating Plus warrants that the areas of any commercial passenger, recreational or emergency vehicles (which vehicle must still have its original factory finish or, if previously refinished, have been stripped to bare metal prior to the Products being applied) finished with the Products applied by Scorpion Coating Plus in strict accordance with the Application Process will be free throughout the Warranty Period from the following paint failures: A. Cracking or checking; B. Severe loss of gloss caused by cracking or fading; and C. Peeling of the topcoat or any of the layers of film included in the refinishing process (collectively, the “Product Warranty”). IV. EXCLUSIONS The following conditions are expressly EXCLUDED from the Product Warranty, and Scorpion Coating Plus, LLC shall have no responsibility or liability for any of the following (collectively, the “Exclusions”): A. Previously repainted or repaired OEM finishes, unless the vehicle was stripped to bare metal prior to painting with the Products. B. System failure due to pre-existing rust or rust originating from the vehicle. This includes blemishes or blistering caused by rust. C. Scratches, abrasions or stone chips caused by normal vehicle use. D. Damage caused by accidents. E. Damage to the paint film caused by improper care, abrasive detergents or waxes, acid rain, industrial emissions or fallout, or heavy-duty pressure washing. F. Damage to vehicles primarily used for competitive purposes. G. Failures resulting from Product misuse or abuse, including improper storage. H. Failures of systems or components containing non-Scorpion Coating Plus  or non-Scorpion Coating Plus-approved products. I. Improper preparation or application of the Products. J. Failure of Products which have not been applied to commercial passenger, recreational or emergency vehicles. V. Scorpion Coating Plus LLC LIMITED WARRANTY NOT TRANSFERABLE.

Service shall be rendered by the company between 9:00 am and 3:00 p.m. on weekdays.
In the event of a workmanship defect or a manufacturer’s product defect, please contact our office by phone or email. When you first experience a problem, immediate contact is of the utmost importance and may prevent further damage. Please provide a detailed description of the defect, if possible.
SCP is not responsible for damages caused by the lack of mitigation of damages.

 

 

Armour-Seal Undercoating

 

Armour Seal undercoating provides up to 5* years of protection off from one application.  Application is based on a normal driving conditions and the average mileage of a vehicle.  

After the the third year, or as on the date posted on your invoice, you can return for a free touch up of Armour-Seal of any low spots that may have occurred during normal driving conditions.  Original invoice must be present at the time of touch up.  Touch up is for the frame of the vehicle only.  SCP reserves the right to deny said service.

Automotive Lighting

 

Please be advised that any free shipping promotions used on the original order will be forfeited if the order is returned and the original shipping costs (paid or unpaid) will also be deducted from the refundable amount.  We are not responsible for return postage unless the return is required due to our mistake, in which case we will send a pre-paid shipping label.

Due to the nature of products, We does not accept returns on custom parts (lens etching, projector tuning service, etc.), un-sealed HID bulbs, or any items in our Closeouts section. Our standard restocking fee structure is outlined below.

Tier 1: Perfect condition. (Unopened & like-new) = 90% refund or 100% store credit. 
Tier 2: Re-conditionable. (Packaging opened or damaged) = 80% refund or 90% store credit.
Tier 3: Inability to restock. (Product & packaging both damaged) = 70% refund or 80% store credit.

If you return an item for a refund, it must first meet the criteria stated in our above returns policy. All returns must be received  within 45 days from their original purchase date. All refunds must be issued back to the original payment source. If an order is placed using store credit, and that order requires a refund, the store credit will be re-applied to your account. This policy shall apply to any product purchases or deposits.

 

 

PowerCoat Epoxy

 

20 year Limited Warranty

Scorpion Coating Plus, LLC hereby warrants PowerCoat Floor to be free from defects in material, to provide a waterproof barrier, and will not have excessive surface wear, and will be free from delaminating for a period of 20 years from the date of installation.  This Standard Limited Warranty applies and is limited to all terms found at Insert Link and as follows:

  1. To the property only as long as it remains in the possession of the original owner named above.
  2. To the floor that has not been subject to accident, misuse or abuse and has been maintained per our guidelines.
  3. To the floor that has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by others
  4. To the flooring that has been installed per PowerCoat inc published standards.
  5. Hydrostatic pressure (caused from moisture being present underneath the concrete slab) can cause blisters, bubbles and other effects. Moisture vapor transmission reading must be no greater than 3.0 lbs./1000 sf/24 hours. Sub-surface contaminants (Oil or other contaminants that can come up from within the concrete slab) causing coating failure. PowerCoat® Floor is not a permanent fix for deficient concrete (concrete that breaks apart and exhibits reduced integrity) as any flooring is only a sound as the substrate it is applied over. Floor preparation is an important factor in the longevity of PowerCoat® Floor. 
  6. To only the floor that is not exposed to temperatures in excess of 158 degrees Fahrenheit.
  7. That Scorpion Coating Plus, LLC. is immediately notified in writing within ten (10) days of first knowledge of defect by owner or his agent.
  8. In some conditions, the anti-slip will wear out over time and will need to be re-applied. Scorpion Coating Plus, LLC accepts no responsibility as to the time or amount of wearing. The customer is responsible to maintain its own safe limits for slip resistance throughout the life of the floor coating application.
  9. There is a possibly that epoxy resins can have some ambering or yellowing in color, this is caused by sunlight or UV lights. Except in cases where the floor is exposed to direct sunlight (than it will chalk) this ambering or yellowing will not affect the performance of the floor.
  10. Under no circumstances shall Scorpion Coating Plus, LLC be liable by virtue of this warranty or otherwise for damage to any person or property whatsoever for any special, indirect, secondary or consequential damages of any nature however arising out of the use or inability to use because of the installation or construction defect.
